COMPANY
The company was founded in Turin after the war by Ernesto Rasetto and his aim was to meet the altered requirements of the knitwear factories. After a careful technical study the first model of manual tension disks completely in metal, was realized. (models POL and POC). That enabled to control the tension of the yarn and to stop the machine when the yarn was finished or when a knot was present.
This solution was a turning point in the production methods and over the years, the widespread use of plastics, caused the substitution of metal by alternative materials, which were cheaper and much easier to work.
After moving to Casale Monferrato (1978), it was studied and introduced the use of electric tighteners in order to improve the quality of work and to speed the production. (models P/MLA, P/MLP and T/91).
In a second step, the wiring made by single leads was replaced by printed circuits, assembled by specialized companies. (model TS1). Furthermore it was introduced the control of the second knot, which slows the machine instead of stopping it.
